What kind of pricing structure do you use?

Our pricing starts at £75 for up to 10 items, with additional items charged at £2 each thereafter.For larger premises (over 100 items) please contact us for a tailored quote. If you have multiple sites, please also contact us for a quotation.

What kind of appliances need to be tested?

PAT testing applies to portable electrical appliances that plug into the mains, such as kettles, computers, power tools, and extension leads. Battery-only or hard-wired equipment usually doesn’t need testing. The need for testing depends on how and where the equipment is used.

Will PAT testing disrupt my business?

PAT testing can be carried out at a time convenient to you. Our PAT testing technician Chris will ensure minimal disruption is caused.

What do I do with the record from PAT testing?

Accepted Answer

Once the PAT testing has been carried out, you will receive a paper copy of your PAT Testing Record and an email copy will be sent to you. Please keep this safe.  We keep records of all PAT testing carried out for 7 years, so in the event of lost paperwork, we have you covered. 
You will also receive a receipt upon completion of payment.

Accepted Answer

PAT testing frequency depends on the type of equipment, how often it’s used, and the environment. Office equipment and salon equipment are usually tested every 1–2 years, while high-risk or site equipment may need testing every 3–6 months. A risk assessment should guide the schedule.
